The Indigo Children Will Lead the Way

A Commentary by Luis Prada on John Denver’s Song “Rhymes and Reasons”

Introduction
John Denver was a prolific country-style songwriter and performer, actor, environmentalist and true lover of nature. He composed many songs, among them the most popular are “Leaving on a Jet Plane”, “Take Me Home, Country Roads”, “Rocky Mountain High”, and “Sunshine On My Shoulders”.
The song “Rhymes and Reasons” was written by John Denver and sang by him many times in concerts. It is a prophecy and a hope for a better future. I present here for your consideration an interpretation of its message. Denver may have never had this in mind when he wrote this song.

Interpretative Comment There are sadness and fear prevailing among humanity today, a sense of loss, uncertainty, a questioning on true meaning of life and if this struggle for life is really worth the try. These are times to look for or renew friendship and support and search for true values. People are looking for answers especially when confronting tragedy or loss of jobs and economic collapse. But they continue to look for these answers in the wrong place, in an old paradigm of worn out religious values and culture that do not seem to satisfy anymore the yearnings of the new streams of life. |
| To seek the wisdom of the children… [Indigo Children] And the graceful way of flowers in the way… |
So there is a strong need for the unbiased, the innocent and simple, the uncompromised, to lead the way to our Spiritual Home. These innocent are the Indigo Children, or Psychic Children, the prophesied Masters of Love and Masters of Wisdom that will come to lead the world. They come with powers and strong will that cannot be bent. They have imprinted in their make up the new way of society and are determined to not cede to the old paradigm. They are “Children of the Universe”, to use the name of other of Denver’s songs, since they volunteered from all parts of the galaxy to come to Earth to help in its Spiritual Awakening. |

These children focus on nature, the flowers, the skies, the animals, with joy and laughter as any innocent child would. These things are the real ones, the blessings of the day, not the artificial money-and-time-driven man-made reality. The Indigo Children are the promise of the future symbolized by the Arc of the Covenant of many colors that sealed the Covenant between God and the Spiritual Israel, the chosen star-seed people of all cultures and races scattered today throughout the lands. They are a symbol of a better future and a hope for humanity. Their themes and rays form a beautiful melody as the melody of the mountains when the wind blows their gorges, canyons, grassy slopes and trees. |

As man continues his nightmare of terrorism and war, blatantly ignoring the message of the Savior of 2000 years ago to make Peace in Peace, not in arms buildup, cold war and revenge, and as governments continue to fight creating destruction and desolation and events like the 911 in New York, still the children bring hope and a vision of the way things supposed to be. And even though the sun turns weaker and fading during a nuclear winter over the planet, beyond this nightmare still lays the promise of the New Covenant, beckoning us to a better future. |

O, sad man, how have you fallen in values! Dark Forces and Fallen Ones have enslaved you and you do not know it or don’t even care! When the crescendo of fight goes up in a cacophony of hell and the cities look like spoiled deserts, even then the children and the humble in heart will take us by the hand and guide us up the Mountain of Spiritual Attainment, the Promised Land. They will comfort us and teach us the trust we have forgotten, the Truth and true faith in God that will set us free! |

This song is a prayer and invitation for those who have not yet realized their God-potential within them, and the glorious Age of Aquarius that awaits for them if they do so: The cities of crystal with free energy, the protection and beautification of nature as a high priority no matter the cost, the council of Elders, the benevolent Ascended Masters and the Galactic Friends sharing Love, Wisdom and technology…
Come on! Come, join us!, Light Workers, with you… and the Indigo Children… and the Masters of Love and Wisdom… we can find the Better Way! |
